Firstly, the event will take place on the Wednesday, Feb. 21st.
Secondly, we would like students to bake and make cookies and treats at home with their family, nicely gift wrap them and then bring them to school to sell on the Feb. 21st. These will be sold for 100 yen each, meaning that all students should bring at least 100 yen (more if they like) to buy treats.
The money collected will be sent to our sister-school in Cambodia as a token of our love, friendship, and support.
Students are also invited to come to school that day wearing red or a red item of clothing.
Ms. Erin, as part of her Guidance unit, has also introduced random acts and messages of kindness. Students are writing and publishing touching messages for other students and staff, then sending them anonymously. Students will write and complete these kind messages at school, then put them on display in the school for Feb. 21st.
