Tuesday - Students need to choose 5 weekly words and write 5 complete sentences using those words.
*Do your best to check your sentences for spaces between your words, capital letters, and end marks.
We will have a spelling test on Friday.
short e - word families
This week we are learning and reviewing the SHORT E sound. To complete this activity you will need to draw 3 columns on a new page in your homework notebook. When you're finished, label each column: EN, ELL, and EST. If you need help, please look at the example of the notebook page below.
1. Cut the pictures.
2. Say the name of each picture out loud.
3. Sort the pictures into the correct word family group.
4. Glue the pictures.
Can you write the word next to the picture? Have fun!
Classroom Library Books
On Monday, Sept. 13th your child brought home 2 or 3 classroom books in their homework folder. These books have been logged in the school's library database and will need to be returned to the classroom on Friday when students arrive at school.
This week's reading homework is to read the classroom books at home throughout the week and help your child complete the reading log.
*Weekend homework (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) - Read and record one book on Raz-Kids & answer book questions.
Students are encouraged to read aloud for at least 10-15 minutes to complete their reading homework every day, but after reading the classroom books they can read Raz-Kids books and other books at home too.
Numbers to 10
We are learning about numbers to 10.
- I can count numbers to 10.

- I can find what's missing in a number pattern.
Please complete your math homework, then glue the pages into your homework folder.
