Mathematics.
Writing.
1. Happened in the past.
2. Happened to the students (not someone else.)
3. Must be TRUE!
We also started our work with sentences, learning the writing rules and what makes a complete sentence. These rules are now know as Shusukes's writing rules as Shusuke is the student in charge of remembering them! The rules of a complete sentence are:
1. Use a capital letter in the beginning.
2. Use an end mark at the end (full stop, question mark, exclamation mark.)
3. Use spaces between words.
4. Make sure it makes sense.
Reading.
We also started our beginning reading assessments this week and they will be continuing into next week as well.
Social Studies.
We also covered the last two of our classroom agreements We are Responsible and We are Caring in our social studies. The students learned what the agreements meant and brainstormed how they show that they are responsible and caring! We later created a chart along with G1A to get all of our ideas together!
