Spelling - we reviewed the spelling patterns with long vowel sounds that we have been learning over the last two terms.
Reading - Students worked in pairs to use glossary and sentences with key words to understand meaning of words. They also made text to text connections finding how two books on the same topic were similar. Students found that the same information could be found in many books. Students then shared their findings with the class.
Children finished painting their animal models for their animal report.
